Clay and blooms-Creative Spring Workshop

The Green Door Florist, Killester has teamed up again with Brookwood Pottery in Santry for a very special workshop on Sunday 7th April 2 - 5 pm. In the creative setting of an artists' studio, Lilla from the Green Door, Killester will help you create a wild flower floral display in a Brookwood porcelain stoneware vase or bowl. Lilla will share with you a professional florist's tips for creating a contemporary floral display and demonstrate two arrangements, while Elaine from Brookwood Pottery will give you a tour of Brookwood and a pottery demonstration.

Guests will then make a floral display and can choose between

1. A Wildflower Bouquet in a Brookwood Pottery vase OR

2. A floral arrangement in a Brookwood Pottery bowl.

Lilla's work is influenced by her German training and her distinctive floral creations have a natural feel that is at once contemporary and rustic. Brookwood pottery's ceramics are playful and individual, each one made on the potter's wheel and painted by hand.

As well as going home with your very own bouquet and pot, we'll be serving tea, coffee and cake for all of our guests too!

There are 12 places on this workshop and it's the perfect opportunity to spend creative time with your partner, wife, mum or bestie. Gift vouchers are available on the Green Door web shop. The perfect gift for Mother's Day or a special occasion.  Book now on www.greendoorflorist.com or ring us on 01 8336268. Tickets are €70 per person.
