We held our annual Christmas Workshop a few weeks ago and as ever it was a huge success! This year we had lots of lovely new faces, but the usual generous helping of smiles and laughter!
This is a relaxed and enjoyable day which aims to get us all in the festive mood in the run up to Christmas! Everyone is provided with all the eco-friendly materials and tools they need to make a rustic wreath to their own design under expert guidance, along with seasonal refreshments to sweeten the day.
The workshop is led by Green Door Florist owner Lilla, who demonstrates techniques and gives lots of handy floristry tips to help you develop skills that you can reuse at home to create your own designs.
This year we once again held the workshop at Brookwood Pottery, and we had a wonderful time with our new guests, who each created their own take on a rustic wreath with amazing results. We were really impressed with their unique designs, which you can see in our Christmas workshop gallery, containing photos from workshops we’ve held over the years.
Our rustic ingredients included pine and eucalyptus as foliage, skimmia and generous helpings of red berries for colour, pine cones, dried oranges, cinnamon, and seasonal star shapes in a range of materials.
Thank you to all our guests for joining us and making it such an enjoyable day, we hope you are enjoying your wreaths.
Special thanks to Caroline for capturing our workshop moments for us.
To our guests, and all our customers, we wish you all a very merry Christmas!
