These mini lanterns are so cute we just had to do something special with them, and taking inspiration from our very popular Meadow Jar, we decided to create a meadow in a lantern!
The idea was to create an arrangement that was absolutely bursting with life and colour, using a combination of classic blooms together with a generous sprinkling of tiny meadow flowers for a fresh and summery feel.
In this first picture, we used a variety of fabulous tulips in a range of pale pinks and rich shades of tangerine & amber. To this we added deep pink anemones, blush pink ranunculus, pale, peachy ruscus and a generous helping of fresh, deep green foliage.
This arrangement would make a unique gift for any occasion. A little bit different from the usual bouquet, it would grace any sideboard or reception area.
But it doesn't end there. Once the flowers are past their best, you still have a cute mini lantern, which looks gorgeous with a candle or fairy lights inside. Else you can reorder a refill bouquet that will go with the lantern and reuse it.
